When people spend more and more time at their homes than before, you may think that they start to feel claustrophobic and get a bad case of cabin fever. And, it’s true, a lot of people do feel that way. However, some have started to notice that they have more “house” on their hands than they really need. They’ve realized that they only use a relatively small percentage of their indoor area, and so they start to think about what it would be like if they had a smaller home.
Now, we’re not necessarily talking about going all the way to a tiny home, but at least something a little more manageable. It could mean less money spent on utilities and more spent on travel. It could mean less time maintaining things and more time with your family. Of course, if you are thinking of downsizing, it’s important to weigh the circumstances for your own family.
